Create a story in Mystrix Studio
Create a story on Creator web
Choose the New Story icon in the Mystrix Studio header. It opens the one story-creation entry point from every Studio page. Choose either a blank/manual start or an AI-assisted start; both choices create the same kind of persisted draft and continue through the same setup, review, and import workflow.
The workflow asks you to:
1. Choose the program form and complete its profile. Fiction and hybrid programs select an available world you own or may use, or ask Studio to create a starter world; documentaries and courses remain worldless. 2. Enter the title, language, canonical classification facets, and content rating. 3. For an AI-assisted start, describe the premise and let Studio prepare the structured draft. For a manual start, enter the description for a blank draft. The AI-assisted path also retains an advanced structured-import option. 4. Review the prepared draft and import it into Studio.
Creating the story saves a draft; it does not publish the story. The workflow cannot continue until its required setup and program-profile fields are complete and, for fiction or hybrid only, the selected world is available. If the World or Story list cannot load, Studio shows a retry action and holds setup until the list loads. Retry the page before choosing a destination. The new Story begins under your administrative control and keeps you as its original creator and storage owner. A later accepted control transfer can change who administers access, but it does not move the Story's attribution, stored-content ownership, or earnings ownership.
Create a story in the Creator app
On Android or iOS, open the Creator app, go to Stories, and choose Create Story. New Story opens the same three-step workflow as Quick Story Import:
1. Enter a title of at least three characters, language, content rating, and program form. Open Program profile to enter genre, tone, subject, and interaction fields explicitly. Fiction and hybrid programs select an available World or request a starter World; documentary, explainer, and instructional programs remain worldless. 2. Enter the Story content manually, or describe the premise and generate an outline. The generated result is reviewed before it enters the same saved draft. Structured files and JSON remain available in the advanced import disclosure. 3. Review the saved setup and content, start import, and open the resulting Story when its job completes.
If import fails, the app shows the failed status and the reason. Retry starts a new import job using the same saved draft. Cancel discards that draft and clears the saved import from the device.
If outline generation fails, the app shows the failed status in your language and the reason once. Retry generates another outline from the saved draft and premise. Plot JSON lets you review or edit the draft yourself.
In the content step, Description edits your Story prose while retaining the prepared outline and program profile. Next saves the content before opening Review; Previous returns to the saved content so you can continue editing it.
The device retains the current import intent and the server retains its draft, so reopening the workflow resumes that attempt. A destination that is absent from the freshly loaded World or Story list cannot advance setup. A failed list request exposes Retry and retains entered fields. Creation produces an unpublished draft; publication has its own validation and preparation. Story artwork is edited in Story Setup, and episode templates are available in episode authoring.
If a selected World becomes unavailable while you continue or start import, the app refreshes the available Worlds and returns you to setup. Your title, profile, outline, and other authored content stay in the draft. Choose another World or a starter World to continue.
If Android or iOS import progress stops updating after a failed read, choose Retry to resume watching the same job. The saved draft and import attempt remain in place.
