The reader arrives as an impartial observer, a newly appointed auditor from a different deck, tasked with investigating the breach. Over eight chapters, they navigate the humid corridors and committee chambers, interviewing suspects with tangled motives. Mira’s secret lab, Kael’s doctored logs, and Yara’s whispered deals all come to light. The trail moves from the physical evidence in the vault to the alibis of the key players, and finally to the hidden agendas that pit them against each other. In the end, the reader must piece together the truth: Yara orchestrated the opening to frame her rivals and seize control. The final chapter confronts her in a tense committee session, where the clues converge and the reader’s deductions determine whether justice is served or the ship descends further into factionalism.

Audit #4439 fixes BUG-3205: the fall-through that comment describes was never actually written, on either side. This rendered `play_count|default(0)` and discovery-detail.js repainted `play_count || 0`, so a story whose counter is stored as `session_count` or `active_players` -- both of which the API allowlists for public disclosure -- told every visitor that nobody had ever played it. The order is play_count, then session_count, then active_players, and it is spelled the same way in discovery-detail.js's `playerCount`; the two must agree or the number changes under the reader a beat after load. `|default(none) is not none`, not `or`: a real 0 is an honest answer and must not fall through to a nonzero sibling. #} 1 Joueurs
