Saint Agnes
A hospice haunting repeats the apology of a nurse who died returning for patients her institution had ordered abandoned.
Décor et lore
Saint Agnes is a modern hospice built inside a care complex evacuated during a flood twenty years earlier. Its routines are gentle, underfunded, and fiercely private. On certain nights, handwriting belonging to trainee nurse Clara Bell appears wherever a patient fears being left: on paper, condensation, linen, or an unfinished chart. The haunting offers no cure and predicts no death. It keeps returning the institution to one unanswered duty.
